Growing up in West Texas, Patrick was heavily influenced by local radio play that encompassed the sounds of country, traditional rancheras and the driving rhythms of early rock and roll. But he found his true musical connection in the singer/songwriter scene of the seventies.

The result is an eclectic mix of truly American musical styles that defy classification. Patrick's resonant voice and dynamic guitar playing create a vehicle for his skillfully crafted lyrics - lyrics that are thougthful and introspective, telling passionate and ironic tales about life, love, and happiness, survival and gratitude.

His melodies have a familiarity about them and a way of drawing you in the first time you hear them, while his interpretations of other writers' songs makes you feel like you are hearing them for the first time.

Patrick lives in the Hudson Valley of New York State and has just released "Welcome To This World," his first album of original tunes.

Patrick was aided in the recording process by the engineering and multi-instrumental prowess of producer John Guth with contributions by Larry Campbell, John Cobert, Paul Brantley, Jim Dirlam and Judy Dunleavey.
